The hull of the Tana Vlet 650 was built at ROC Friese Poort in Leeuwarden as part of a development aid project for fishermen in Tanzania (Lake Victoria). It is a very robustly built and therefore very stable vlet.
The hull of this Tana Vlet 650 was purchased by the current owner. He then had the vlet finished in mahogany and placed the engine.
The vlet is kept in a hall every winter and is in good condition.
