Experience it on Hiswa te Water
Since 2018, the Hiswa te Water, the largest in-water boat show in Northern Europe, has been held at Batavia Haven in Lelystad. After two well-attended editions (2018 and 2019) at this well-known, centrally located water sports venue, the familiar COVID-19 restrictions were implemented. The in-person 2020 and 2021 editions had to make way for online versions. In 2022 and 2023, the Hiswa te Water returned, and how! A nearly sold-out venue and sun-drenched Batavia Haven were a wonderful place to be. The quay and jetties of Batavia Haven were once again buzzing with positive news. The new location, the harbor layout, the decor, the wide range of boats, the diversity of exhibitors, and of course, the test sails all seemed to contribute to a positive atmosphere. The 2024th edition of the Hiswa te Water Show was bigger than ever, with 440 boats, and even required a waiting list. The stands on the quay were completely sold out.
On to a phenomenal 2025 edition!
The 40th edition of the Hiswa te Water Show will take place in 2025 in, of course, Batavia Haven Lelystad. The harbor will once again be transformed into a paradise for every type of water sports enthusiast. It looks like the harbor will be packed, and all the stands on the quay and in the main entrance tent will be occupied. Like no other show, the Hiswa te Water Show will be the event where you can learn and explore everything nautical water sports have to offer.
Plenty to see on the Hiswa te Water
Besides all the beautiful boats in the harbor and the attractive stands on the quay, there's much more to do. Demonstrations on the quay, test sails in the harbor, delicious food at our own Restaurant Zilt or on one of the terraces surrounding the fair. You can also enjoy the hospitality of surrounding restaurants like Grand Cafe MJ, TR3S Tapasbar Lelystad, or De Rede. And, of course, a visit to Batavia Stad Fashion Outlet or the Batavia Museum is also highly recommended.
