Salon Nautique Paris 2022

From 3 to 10 December, the 61st edition of the Nautic is planned in Porte de Versailles. The 'extreme adventurer' Mike Horn opens the doors of this new edition of the Paris Boat Show on Saturday 3 December at 10 am. This year, almost 170,000 visitors are expected to visit the 650 exhibitors. This year the Nautic is full of new elements, where boating and yachting enthusiasts can indulge themselves.

The show will be more concentrated over nine days, with a preview evening reserved exclusively for exhibitors and their guests. The closing evening on Saturday 10 December will be a festive nautical evening that is open to everyone.

Pushing boundaries

“We are delighted that Mike Horn has agreed to sponsor this event. This great adventurer, extreme sports enthusiast, polyglot and globetrotter, embodies many of our nautical values and, like other great names of their time, knows how to combine innovation and pushing your limits”, sums up Alain Pichavant, general commissioner of Nautic, together. Spread over two halls in the Porte de Versailles, the sailing yachts will compete against motor boats, board sports and equipment, as well as professionals from the tourism sector, the pool and wellness sector and nautical areas. The fair invites the enthusiast, amateur or curious to discover all the attractions of nautical know-how. Numerous new products will also be on display in the aisles of the fair, including alternative energy solutions and products that have a lower impact on the environment.

Innovation Competition

Innovation and new products will therefore be seen everywhere at the fair. “It is rare that exhibitors do not present a new product on their stand with the common goal of taking a concrete part in the ecological transition. This testifies to the vibrancy of the sector and the general awareness of environmental issues”, analyzes the French Federation of Nautical Industries (FIN). Visitors will also be invited to meet the future winners of the innovation competition. About fifteen finalists from the more than sixty project entries will be exhibited in this dedicated space. The grand finale will take place on the nautical stage on Saturday 10 December in front of a jury of personalities and experts. Among them are the Director-General of Maritime Affairs, a skipper of the Macif and the director of VivaTech, who will choose the participants. A novelty presented at Nautic is a virtual reality room to live an experience without getting wet! “We are experimenting with a new approach, because we are convinced that virtual reality, without of course replacing the fun of the activity in real life, can bring us new developments in the very near future,” emphasizes FIN.
