The Minor 29 DC belongs to the Finnish tradition of multi-purpose semi-planing walk-around boats with a wheelhouse. These are popular vessels built for the rough Finnish lake district, often characterized by strong winds and rough seas, the Baltic Sea, and the Gulf of Bothnia. Consequently, they are robustly built vessels that were originally used as workboats and fishing boats. The Minor 29 DC possesses excellent handling characteristics in terms of course stability, maneuverability, and speed.
The Minor 29 DC steers with razor-sharp precision (as if on rails) and is built for sailing on open water. The propeller shaft drive ensures stable handling even at low speeds.
In 2014, the name Minor was changed to Sargo, due to the fact that the vessels were becoming increasingly larger and the name Minor was no longer considered appropriate.
This Minor 29 DC belongs to the second owner, who has owned her since 2005, after she entered service in 2004.
This Minor 29 DC has been stored in a shed every winter, and the owner has always kept her in very good condition. This Minor 29 DC is equipped with a powerful Volvo Penta diesel engine, making fast crossings possible.
